About us
Wind Power Plant Rakova bara is an SPV founded in 2021. with a task to develop, construct and operate the wind farm of the same name, which will be located in the terriory of Kučevo municipalita (Eastern Serbia). Our vision is to contribute the sustainable future of energy affairs in the Republic of Serbia, by producing clean and renewable energy, as well as to ensure the development of the local community.
About project
WPP „Rakova bara“ is designed to comprise out of 19 wind turbine generators, with a total installed capacity at the point of common coupling of 140MW, which will allow for a total annual power generation of 400GWh – which is sufficient to power up 45,000 households. This represents around 1.1% of the total electric energy consumption in Serbia, with zero emissions.
Beside clean power generation, implementation of this project shall contribute additional progress of this part of Srbia. This includes engagement of the local companies in the phases of development and construction, construction of the road infrastrucure, which will allow local residents and tourists access to the attractive and remote locations, enhancement of tourist content, employment opportunities for the operation and maintenanced of the wind farm and pertaining infrastructure.
